The J.O.Y. Puppet Troupe was founded by Kayla and Kimberley Woodhouse in 2010. What started as a ministry with three teens and three puppets blossomed into a professional troupe that has since performed nation-wide. The troupe now has over 40 puppets and performs skits, plays, musicals, and more.
The J.O.Y. Puppet Troupe started as a side-ministry of Kim and Kayla Ink, performing as an opening/closing act for Kim’s speaking engagements – her theme being joy. The name of the troupe – J.O.Y. – was inspired by Kim’s acronym: Jesus Only You. The J.O.Y. Puppet Troupe seeks to glorify Jesus is all that they do, remembering that the source of all joy comes from God.
From the very beginning, the J.O.Y. Puppet Troupe has sought to share joy and laughter with audiences of all ages – from nine-month-olds to 90-year-olds and beyond.
