I have to tell you that he has always been my favorite and I have had such great respect for him as a musician; musically, he can’t be topped – his voice is the best there is and God has blessed him abundantly in the talent area. But, let me also tell you how he has touched our lives. He’s not just a musician – famous and talented. He is an amazing person, who loves the Lord and wants to glorify Him in all that he does. I have been so impressed with his integrity and I respect him even more for his care, concern and genuine love for people.

As one of David Phelps’ “phans”, I have to agree wholeheartedly with Kim’s description of David. Although I consider myself a newer phan, the few concerts I have attended have been very memorable, moving, and enlightening. Besides his indescribeable voice, what really amazes me about David is his interest in his phans that attend his concerts. After each concert, David will “meet and greet” each and every person in line, no matter how long it takes. And he doesn’t just say hi, sign a CD and move on – no – he forgets about everyone in line and focuses all his attention on you. He’ll look you straight in the eye with sincerity as you tell him what’s on your mind.
He also has a phan “board” on his website where we discuss anything and everything – it is so much fun! This is where the silly spelling of words starting with “f” comes from! Many like to replace the letter “f” with the letters “ph”, as in Phelps. The board is also referred to as the “Phelps Phunny Pharm” – so why not stop by and join the phun 🙂
Remember, David is about more than singing his praises to the Lord – he cares deeply for the people he meets and strives to make a difference in the world. This is why he was so honored to be a part of the Woodhouse’s makeover!
Kim…I can’t agree with you more. David is such a God fearing man who absolutely loves to bring joy to the world by using his voice to help guide us more to God.
There is no finer voice anywhere than David’s. Kim has put the heart of who he is and what he is all about very eloquently. Having been to many concerts and being a member of the Phelps Phamily on his website, I can attest to the fact that David is the real deal and he walks the Godly walk.
His music is soul touching and life changing in many ways. God has blessed David with stunning vocals and a caring heart in writing His messages in song to all who will hear. David brings the joy of Christ to everyone he meets.

His concert’s will leave you sitting in your seat completely stunned! His love for the Lord, his family, friends and fans is a gift from God. Upon meeting David after each and every show you are immediately at ease with him and he will make you feel like you are the only person in the room; even though there are hundred’s more in line waiting to see him. Ditto what everyone else here has said! I was searching for an artist who sang heartfelt songs, and thought out lyrics, as opposed to just rhyming the words. When I happened upon David, I couldn’t have been more pleased!! He IS the real deal, and I remember being so nervous to meet him after my first concert, but as everyone has said…he’s down to earth..one on one…and acts like there’s not hundreds of people still waiting to talk to him.
If you’re looking for an artist who is REAL, then I can promise you will NOT be disappointed…come on over to the boards, and see what we’re all boasting about…David’s music is a definite encouraging part of my life!!
I am a HUGE phan of David Phelps. He is just the best there is, in my opinion. He has been blessed with such phenomenal talent; but when you meet him, he’s such a down-to-earth, humble guy. He is a wonderphul man who loves his family, and keeps his priorities in order where they are concerned. He also is extremely generous and appreciative of his phans. Please check out his website. I have to agree with every word you said about David, Kim. His vocals are simply inhuman. And his songwriting is genius; musically and lyrically. I still haven’t figured out why the whole world doesn’t know about him. The first time I heard him sing, I HAD to find out who he was.

I totally agree with what Kim & the others have said. David is an annointed man of God. He has the most amazing voice I’ve ever heard & a most gifted songwriter as well. But more than that, he, Lori,& his family love the Lord. They are very humble & sincere & are very quick to give all the glory to our Lord & Savior.
God has blessed me time & time again through his music and his ministry. David has a phan board & it is truly a “phamily” as we like to call it. We laugh together, cry together, help each other, & we pray for each other and just have loads of fun!! I have made many wonderful lifelong friends through David’s ministry.
I have seen David in concert many times and he is awesome!! And he always meets people afterwards. He will stay until he speaks to every person standing in line to greet him, down to the very last person in line. No matter how tired he is, no matter how long it takes, he will treat the very last person as if they were the very first person standing in line. God is using the Phelps family in such a mighty way to reach many hearts & souls with His message of hope & love.

David Phelps and his ministry have meant more to my family thank I could ever describe. His voice is truly inspiring and his music touches my heart.
I have just recently started watching the Bill Gaither show and listened to David on there. I fell in love with his voice and ordered his DVD and CD they were advertising at that time. I have watched the DVD several times since receiving it and I love his song the End of the Beginning. I get goose bumps every time I watch him sing it. It is truly one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard and he sings it with such love for our Lord and Saviour. What a fantastic songwriter. I wish I had heard of him years ago. I will be ordering more of his CDs in the near future. Continue your ministry David as we need more people like you in these troubled times. You have a beautiful family. In the short time I have listened to you, I have come to love you and your music.
