Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and… chickens

As I write this from our beautiful winter-wonder-land in Montana, I’m praying that you all had a very Merry Christmas! We had the awesome privilege of having all our kids home for the holidays and it was incredible and so very joyous. Next, hubby and I will celebrate twenty-eight years of marriage on the 28th! I’m still shocked that I’m old enough to be married that long… but I digress.

In just a few days, we will be ringing in a new year. 2020. Wow. That’s hard to believe. But with a new year, comes a new book! Yay! Tracie Peterson and I have a new series starting – the Treasures of Nome series. The first book, Forever Hidden, releases on January the 7th.

In this story, Havyn Powell is one of three, musical sisters. And… she just happens to have a love for chickens. In the notes in the book, I promised pictures for you all, my readers. So here they are: pictures of my chicken house sign made by sweet Mallory and her mom Britney, and of course, my beloved chicken pillows made by Tracie Peterson herself. To find out the story behind these pictures, you’ll have to pick up a copy of Forever Hidden. 🙂

Happy Holidays to all of you and a very happy New Year!
Much love from Montana,

Kimberley

  1. Such a pretty cover! Looking forward to this new series! I didn’t see a picture of your chicken pillows, but your sign & coop sure are cute. Wishing you a Happy, Healthy New Year!

  2. I love it when you and Tracie work together on a book. The books are always winners with me. Can’t wait to read this one. Love the chicken coop and the sign. Wish my grandparents had a coop like yours before Grandma sold the farm after Grandpa died. So cute.

  3. I can’t wait to read this book by two of my favorite authors. We raise chickens so it will be fun to see what adventures your characters get into with chickens.

  4. I am so looking forward to reading your new book! I just received it in the mail and hope to read it very soon! I love books by you and Tracie. They are always a winner! Happy New Year, Kimberley, to you and your family!

  5. I look forward to reading your book! Britney is my SIL and Mallory is my niece! You look great, Mal, and I love the sign! P.S. My birthday is on the 28th!
It really is a small world. Blessings!
