Change… and Another Adventure…

I don’t know about you, but the older I get, the harder change is for me to… digest.

Today is a really hard day. We announced to our beloved church family that we are moving. After more than a dozen years in this state, it’s quite shocking to the system. I still don’t know if it has completely sunk in, but I am relying on the Lord to guide us one day at a time.

It became very real to us that we needed to be closer to where our daughter will be in seminary. And our new, wonderful daughter-in-law is from that same state. Her family is all there and I’m sure the kids will end up there as well. Family comes first to us after God. I’m sure you know that, and I’m sure you understand. At this time, I won’t answer the million questions that I’m sure are percolating in your minds. Eventually, I might get to that. Please respect our privacy and understand that this is the Lord’s next step for us. We know that it is His will, no matter how difficult it might be. We’ve been blessed to know and work with amazing people here in Colorado. We will miss you all.

Our location won’t change anything with my books, so in case you were worried – don’t be!

In this new year of 2018, there will be lots of wonderful things happening! In January OUT OF THE ASHES releases from Bethany House Publishers. Book two in the Heart of Alaska Series by Tracie and me. We are SO excited to share that story with you all. It’s a story of redemption and beauty from the ashes. Tracie and I both went through major trials as we wrote the book. We will share more about that in January. In January, there’s also a book tour in the Southeast! Woohoo! I hope we get to meet a lot of you there.

In February, THE MAYFLOWER BRIDE releases and it is the first book in the Daughters of the Mayflower Series. More about that to come and about THE PATRIOT BRIDE which releases in August (from the same series) – you will also want to check out all the other titles in the series written by other fabulous authors. I’ll give you more details on that coming up soon.

And so… I thank you all for journeying with me. Yes, even through change.
God bless you! Until next time,
