Yep, I’m a slacker. When the craziness rolls around here – I’m always slacking in one way or another. 🙂

Some of you may say, “But hey, you’ve had a lot going on!” Which is true, and thank you for coming to my defense – even if it is only in my imagination – but there’s never really a good excuse.

Yes, we added a new member of the family – Samson – our teacup Yorkie who’s entirely too cute for his own good. But pictures of Mr. Cuteness will have to wait for another blog…

Yes, my husband had bilateral knee replacements almost four weeks ago. He’s still in a lot of pain and we’re still lacking a LOT of sleep – but again, I’ll save that for another blog…

Yes, there have been wildfires burning all over our beautiful state – and one even destroyed part of our city. That will definitely be another blog. Wow. So much to be thankful for in the midst of such loss.

What I really need to do is catch everyone up.

And to do that – I have a couple announcements to make.

First – I’m SO thrilled to announce this – Last month I signed contracts with Bethany House Publishers to write with Tracie Peterson. Yes, THE Tracie Peterson. (Insert your own insane-giggle-because-she’s-your-favorite-author.) Tracie is the author of almost one hundred books – but not only that, she’s been my mentor and dear friend. We are SO excited about this adventure!

So be watching for updates about ALL THINGS HIDDEN (coming in early 2014)- I’ll give more details about it in blogs to come 😉

Second – I have a new release – TODAY! Because of the craziness with hubby’s surgery, the puppy, and the fires, I haven’t been able to do a lot of promoting.
